Happy Saint Patrick’s Day Cake
Ingredients
- 1 cup gluten free or regular flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 egg
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cooking oil
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- green food coloring, about 4 drops
- green sprinkles
- white frosting, your favorite homemade or store bought
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°, spray an 8 inch cake pan with cooking spray.
- In a medium mixing bowl mix together the egg, sugar, cooking oil, vanilla, and milk.
- Add in the flour, baking powder, and baking soda, mix until completely blended.
- Add the green food coloring and mix until a uniform color.
- Pour batter into the prepared cake pan, bake for 30 minutes, or until toothpick entered in center comes out clean.
- Set on cooling rack, cool, take out of pan and place on a serving plate, Frost and decorate if you like. Cut and Serve. Enjoy!
