Happy Saint Patrick’s Day Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup gluten free or regular flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cooking oil
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • green food coloring, about 4 drops
  • green sprinkles
  • white frosting, your favorite homemade or store bought

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350°, spray an 8 inch cake pan with cooking spray.
  • In a medium mixing bowl mix together the egg, sugar, cooking oil, vanilla, and milk.
  • Add in the flour, baking powder, and baking soda, mix until completely blended.
  • Add the green food coloring and mix until a uniform color.
  • Pour batter into the prepared cake pan, bake for 30 minutes, or until toothpick entered in center comes out clean.
  • Set on cooling rack, cool, take out of pan and place on a serving plate, Frost and decorate if you like. Cut and Serve. Enjoy!
