Chocolate Sheet Cake
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup regular or gluten free all purpose flour (Bob’s Red Mill 1 to 1 Gluten Free)
- 1/4 cup baking cocoa
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cooking oil
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons hot water
- your favorite chocolate fudge frosting
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325°, spray an 8×8 inch baking pan with cooking spray, set aside.
- In a medium mixing bowl add the eggs, sugar, cooking oil, and vanilla, mix.
- Add the flour, baking cocoa, and baking soda, mix for about a minute until well blended, stir in hot water.
- Spread batter evenly into the prepared baking dish, Bake in preheated oven for about 15 minutes. Do Not over bake or it will be dry.
- Set on cooling rack, completely cool before cutting. Frost with Chocolate Frosting. Cut and Serve. Enjoy!
