Chicken Stroganoff Patties

Chicken Patty Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound lean ground chicken
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs or quick oats
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon umami mushroom seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cups egg noodles cooked to package direction, set aside
  • Mix and combined all ingredients together, (except noodles) and olive oil.
  • Add olive oil to a skillet on medium heat and shape meat mixture into 4 patties, set in skillet, brown on both sides about 3 minutes on each side.
  • Add the sauce ingredients. Cook for about 10 more minutes.

Ingredients for Sauce

  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2-4 ounces sliced mushrooms, (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon umami mushroom seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup sour cream, at room temperature, add last, whisk until smooth.
  • Fold in the egg noodles and toss to cover with sauce, sprinkle with extra parsley, if you like, serves about 2-3. Enjoy!
