Large Butter Sugar Cookie
Frosted Sugar Cookie made with butter and gluten free flour, baked in a six inch baking pan, recipe makes two six inch cookies…
Ingredients
- 1 cup gluten free all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg, slightly beaten with fork
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°, spray two 6 inch round baking pan with cooking spray, set aside.
- In a medium mixing bowl add the butter and sugar, cream together, add the egg and vanilla mix together.
- Add the flour and baking powder, mix everything together until well blended.
- Divide dough in half and place one half in to prepared baking pan, spread in pan evenly.
- Bake in preheated oven for about 12 minutes. Repeat with other half of dough, if you only have one 6 inch pan. Set on cooling rack.
- When completely cooled, frost. Mix together the powdered sugar and milk, frosting will be thick, but spreadable. Add a drop of milk if needed.
- Cut cookies in to 8 wedges each. Serve and Enjoy!
