Happy Halloween Cake

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup regular or gluten free all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons butter, room temperature
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons Halloween sprinkles, more to sprinkle on top
  • Your favorite butter cream frosting homemade or store bought

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350°, spray a 7 inch cake pan with cooking spray, set aside.
  • In a medium mixing bowl cream together the butter and sugars.
  • Add egg, vanilla, milk mix together completely.
  • Add the flour, baking soda, and baking powder, stir and mix in until everything is combined.
  • Stir in sprinkles, pour batter into prepared cake pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, until toothpick entered in center comes out clean.
  • Place on cooling rack, cool and take out of pan if you like, frost and sprinkle the sprinkles on top.
