Spicy Shrimp over Fettuccine

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound peeled and deveined shrimp
  • 6 ounces gluten free or regular pasta, cooked to package directions
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, more or less to taste
  • 1 teaspoons paprika
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup milk, more or less to desired thickness
  • 1 tablespoon flour, regular or gluten free
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  • Turn burner on stove to medium, add the olive oil and butter to melt.
  • Add in the shrimp, sprinkle in all the seasonings.
  • Stir everything together, saute until shrimp is pink.
  • Stir in flour, slowly pour in milk, keep stirring until it starts to thicken.
  • Turn burner down to low, add more milk as needed if it gets to thick.
  • Turn off burner, serve hot over pasta. Serves 2, Enjoy!
