Spicy Shrimp over Fettuccine
Ingredients
- 1/2 pound peeled and deveined shrimp
- 6 ounces gluten free or regular pasta, cooked to package directions
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, more or less to taste
- 1 teaspoons paprika
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup milk, more or less to desired thickness
- 1 tablespoon flour, regular or gluten free
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Turn burner on stove to medium, add the olive oil and butter to melt.
- Add in the shrimp, sprinkle in all the seasonings.
- Stir everything together, saute until shrimp is pink.
- Stir in flour, slowly pour in milk, keep stirring until it starts to thicken.
- Turn burner down to low, add more milk as needed if it gets to thick.
- Turn off burner, serve hot over pasta. Serves 2, Enjoy!
