Cheddar and Green Onion Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 1 cup gluten free baking mix
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/8 cup slice green onion tops
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • butter
  • * Choose gluten free ingredients to make it gluten free!

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 400°, lightly butter a baking pan, set aside.
  • In a medium mixing bowl add baking mix, shredded cheese, and green onions together and mix.
  • In a small bowl beat and and milk together, pour into dry ingredients, mix until everything is completely blended.
  • If dough is to sticky add a tablespoon of baking mix at a time until dough is workable without sticking to hands.
  • Divide dough into 4 equal portions.
  • Pat each portion in to a round biscuit shape with hands, place on baking pan, about an inch apart.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 18-20 minutes until golden. Set on cooling rack and butter the top of biscuits while hot.
  • Allow to cool a few minutes. Serve warm with butter, if you like, and Enjoy!
