Shredded Chicken Gravy over Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 4 fully cooked boneless chicken thighs, (I cooked in slow cooker)
  • 1 tablespoon your favorite seasoning blend
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon poultry season
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 3 tablespoons regular or gluten free flour
  • 2 cups chicken stock
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 large cheddar and green onion biscuits, Recipe

Directions

  • In a medium sauce pot add shredded chicken, all the seasonings, the flour, and mix everything to coat shredded chicken completely.
  • Turn burner on medium, add the chicken stock and butter stirring constantly, as the liquid starts to heat it will thicken.
  • Keep stirring until hot and thick, turn off the heat.
  • Cut biscuits in half, lengthwise, set on a plate or bowl, spoon hot chicken and gravy over the biscuits, add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve with your favorite vegetables, Serves 4. Enjoy!
