Cranberry Salad



Very easy and a favorite at every holiday table at my house.  This recipe for Cranberry Salad compliments not only the turkey but all of your other side dishes, with a bit of sweet crunch…


Cranberry Salad

1 can whole berry cranberry sauce

1 small box red gelatin (3 ounce) cherry, raspberry, or strawberry, your choice

1 cup diced celery

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

1 cup boiling water

In a glass bowl dissolve the gelatin in the boiling hot water, stir until all is dissolved

Refrigerate until it cools down, but don’t let it get set and thick

After gelatin cools down add cranberry sauce, stir in celery and walnuts, return to refrigerator to finish setting it.
