Spicy Cranberry Chicken Tenders
Ingredients
- 6-8 frozen lightly breaded fully cooked chicken tenders, thawed, I use “Just Bare” brand
- 1 can whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1 tablespoon lower sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey bbq sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1-2 pinches crushed red pepper flakes, more or less to your taste
Directions
- On medium heat in a skillet add all the ingredients and stir to blend everything completely. Bring to a boil.
- Place the thawed breaded chicken tenders in the sauce.
- Turn heat down to low/medium.
- Carefully turn tenders several times to coat with sauce.
- Turn burner to simmer for a few minutes, until sauce starts to thicken.
- Take skillet off heat, set on a hot pad. Serve with a side of white rice and a vegetable. Enjoy!
