Cabbage and Baby Butter Beans
Fried Cabbage and Baby Butter Beans
1/2 head regular size cabbage, sliced
1 can baby butter beans, about 15 ounce, drained and rinsed
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon garlic powder and onion powder
Salt and Fresh ground pepper to taste
A few shakes of parsley
Add olive oil and butter to pan, on medium heat, place in cabbage stir and flip cabbage in pan, cook a few minutes until cabbage starts to look translucent and reduces in volume
Add butter beans and seasonings stir and flip to completely mix together
Turn heat to medium low stirring and flipping occasionally, so not to burn, until cabbage is tender, turn off heat and serve.
