Gluten Free Caraway Seed Bread

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup warm milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1&1/4 cup gluten free bread flour (king arthur)
  • 2 teaspoons caraway seeds
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder, for color, optional
  • 2 teaspoons rapid rise yeast

Directions

  • Place ingredients in the bread machine pan in the order they are listed.
  • Set machine on gluten free setting, 1 pound loaf, and light or medium crust.
  • After cycle is done, be careful, use pot holders, remove bread from pan.
  • Cool completely before slicing. Enjoy!
  • NOTE: This recipe is a basic gluten free bread recipe, I added the caraway seeds and cocoa (for color), to give bread the taste and color of a rye bread.
  • NOTE: The photo below shows the loaf sunk in a little on the top crust, but as you can see from other photos the sliced bread was just fine for sandwiches.
