Cheese Ravioli with Diced Tomatoes
Ingredients
- 13 ounces bag frozen cheese ravioli, gluten free or regular
- 1 can petite diced tomatoes, about 15 ounces,drained save liquid
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/3 cup or more shredded parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Cook ravioli to package directions, drain
- In a skillet turn burner on medium add olive, oil and butter.
- Slowly add the cooked ravioli to the skillet, be careful oil might splatter.
- Lightly fry ravioli on each side, turn carefully with spatula.
- Turn burner down to low.
- Distribute tomatoes evenly around ravioli, add spices, carefully stir, to mix, don’t break up the ravioli.
- Let everything heat completely, add some of the saved liquid, if it looks a little dry. You don’t want it to be soupy.
- Serve with plenty of parmesan on top, salt and pepper to taste.
