Maraschino Cherry Muffin Tops
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup gluten free or regular baking mix
- 1 egg, slightly beaten with fork
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 2 tablespoons maraschino cherry juice from jar
- Frosting, store bought or homemade
- Maraschino cherries cut in half and patted dry
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°, spray a muffin top pan with cooking oil spray, set aside.
- In a medium mixing bowl add egg, sugar, milk, cherry juice, and cooking oil, mix until blended.
- Add the baking mix and beat in with a fork for about a minute and everything is blended together.
- Pour batter into prepared muffin top pan and bake about 12 minutes in preheated oven.
- Set on cooling rack to cool, remove from pan, after completely cooled frost and top with Maraschino cherries. Makes 6, Serve and Enjoy!
