Lasagna with Ground Beef and Lasagna
Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef, browned and drain fat if needed
- 1 box oven ready lasagna noodles, regular or gluten free, about 10 ounces
- 2 jars of your favorite spaghetti sauce, 24 ounces each
- 1 medium zucchini, sliced very thin
- 1 ricotta cheese or cottage cheese, 16 ounces
- 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
- grated parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°, Spray 13×9 Baking dish with cooking spray.
- Spread one cup spaghetti sauce evenly on bottom of baking dish. Top with lasagna sheets.
- Next layer with 1 cup of sauce, 1/4 of the thin sliced zucchini, 1/4 of ground beef, 1/4 of the mozzarella, 1/4 of the ricotta, and sprinkle with grated parmesan on top of each layer.
- Repeat for three more layers, top with any remaining sauce.
- Cover with foil, Bake for 45 minutes, take off foil and bake for 15 more minutes.
- Take out of oven and let set for about 15 minutes before serving. Cut, Serve, and Enjoy!
