Chicken Rice Soup Slow Cooker
Ingredients
- 1 small boneless chicken breast
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 4-5 large carrots, peeled and cut into bite size slices
- 1 cup frozen Italian green beans, thawed, (optional)
- 2 green onions, sliced, separate the green and white
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups cooked rice, keep warm
Directions
- In a 2 quart slow cooker, set on high, add carrots, then chicken, and seasonings, add the white part of sliced onions.
- Pour in the chicken broth, let cook for about 2&1/2 hours, add the Italian green beans, let cook for about another 1/2 hour, until chicken is done.
- The cooking time depends on your slow cooker.
- Take out chicken and place on a plate, cut into pieces. Add back in to the slow cooker, stir.
- Serve in bowls, and add a packed scoop of rice in the center of bowl. Top with green onions.
- Salt and pepper to taste. Serve and Enjoy!
