Slow Cooker Apple Crisp for Two

Apple Ingredients

  • 2 large apples, peeled and cored and diced
  • 3 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons corn starch
  • Mix together in a small bowl set aside.

Topping Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup regular or gluten free all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup quick oats
  • 3 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons cold butter, cubed
  • Mix dry ingredients until blended, next with a fork cut in the cubes of butter until mixture resembles even crumbles.
  • Spray a small 2 quart slow cooker with cooking spray, add apples, and topping, spread evenly over apples. Set on lid.
  • Turn slow cooker on high cook for 2 hours or until apples are tender. Turn off, take off lid, and let sit for about 30 minutes or more, until the top is a little hard.
  • Serve with whip cream or ice cream if you like. Enjoy!
