Tuna Penne Pasta Salad
Ingredients
- 6 to 8 ounces penne pasta, regular or gluten free, cooked to package directions
- 1 can drained tuna fish, 4 to 5 ounces
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise or miracle whip, (add more if you like)
- 1/2 cup frozen peas, rinsed under cold water in strainer
- 2 hard boiled eggs, peeled and chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped celery
- 1 teaspoon dried minced onions
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- In a mixing bowl add the tuna, peas, celery, eggs, dill and minced onions. Mix together, breaking up the large chunks of tuna.
- Add the mayonnaise and stirring until all ingredients are mixed completely.
- Fold in the prepared pasta, keep folding until all pasta is evenly covered with tuna mixture.
- Add salt and pepper to taste, serve with your favorite dinner rolls or crackers. Serves 2. Enjoy!
- If it seams to be a little dry for your taste add a few more spoons of mayonnaise to make salad more creamy.
