Semi-Homemade Chili
Easy Semi-Homemade Chili, just a few ingredients.
Easy Semi-Homemade Chili
1 can chili (your favorite brand) about 15 ounces
1 can diced tomatoes (no salt added), about 15 ounce
1 teaspoon chili powder, more or less to taste
Add all ingredients to a skillet on medium heat, bring to a boil, stir and cook a few minutes.
Turn heat down to simmer/low, put a lid on skillet and cook for about 30 minutes, check and stir if needed, so it doesn’t stick or burn.
Serve with corn bread or crackers. Serves 2
Serving suggestions: top with onions, cheese, sour cream, your choice.
Tip: If you use no salt added diced tomatoes, this will help cut down on the sodium. The canned chili has plenty of sodium in it already!
