Apple Cranberry Crisp
Filling
- 2 apples peeled, cored, and sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/8 cup light brown sugar
- 2 ounces craisins
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Melt butter in skillet on medium heat
Add sliced apples, cook for about 5-10 minutes until tender.
Add light brown sugar and cinnamon.
Mix in applesauce and craisins, cook until heated through.
Spread apple filling into a sprayed 8 inch round or square pan, set aside.
Topping
- 1/3 cup walnut flour or regular flour
- 1/8 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup quick oats
- 4 tablespoons melted butter
Mix together the dry ingredients, pour melted butter over and mix all together. Should be a little damp and crumbly. Take the crumble mix and crumble on top of the apple filling in the baking dish.
Bake in preheated 375° oven for about 25-30 minutes.
