Apple Raisin Pecan Crisp
INGREDIENTS
- 20 ounce can apple pie filling
- 1/2 cup regular or gluten free all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup quick oats, dry
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- pinch ground nutmeg
- 6 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 snack boxes raisins, 1 ounce each
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans, divided in half
DIRECTIONS
- Plug in a small slow cooker, (about 2 – 3 quarts), spray with cooking spray, Turn on temperature to high.
- Empty pie filling into slow cooker, add 1 box of raisins and half of the chopped pecans. Mix together and spread evenly on bottom of slow cooker.
- In a bowl mix together the oats, flour, light brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg, mix together.
- Pour the melted butter over flour mixture and mix until completely blended, and is crumbly.
- Add the other box of raisins and remaining chopped pecans, mix.
- Pour crumbly mixture evenly over apples in the slow cooker, cover with lid.
- Cook for about 3 hours, turn off slow cooker, allow to sit 30 minutes before serving.
- Serves about 4, top with ice cream or whipped cream, if you like, warm or cooled. Enjoy!
