Chicken Meatballs with Sauce over Pasta

Meatballs
- 1 pound lean ground chicken
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/3 cup dry breadcrumbs or quick oats
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Directions
- Mix all ingredients, except olive oil, in a mixing bowl and roll into 2 inch balls, make about 10-12 meatballs.
Add olive oil into a skillet on medium heat, place meatballs in skillet to cook and brown on all sides, about 6-8 minutes.
Sauce and Pasta
- 1 – 24 ounce jar of pasta sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- salt and pepper to taste
- 8-12 ounces of your favorite pasta, regular or gluten free, cooked to package directions.

- On medium heat, In a large saucepan add all sauce ingredients.
Now add all the meatballs, turn heat down to low and cook for about 40 minutes, stir frequently. - Serve sauce and meatballs over your favorite cooked pasta.
Add some grated cheese on top. Enjoy!
