Bananas and Cream Oatmeal Pancakes
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup gluten free or regular baking mix
- 1 package Bananas and cream instant oatmeal
- 1/4 cup milk, plus a couple tablespoons more if batter is to thick
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 1 small banana
Directions
- In a medium mixing bowl add the egg, milk, and cooking oil, mix together with a fork.
- Add in the oatmeal packet, stir, now add the baking mix, mix together until everything is blended.
- If batter looks to thick add a tablespoon of milk at a time to reach desired consistency. If batter is thinner the pancakes will look like crepes, which is great too!
- Turn burner on medium heat, set a skillet on burner, heat skillet a few minutes.
- Pour batter slowly into heated skillet, when pancake starts to bubble turn over to cook other side, about 30 seconds. Turn heat down if needed, if the pancakes are cooking to fast.
- Serve with butter, Bananas, whip cream, and syrup if you like. This recipe makes about 4 pancakes. Enjoy!
