Maple Roasted Brussel Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 12- 16 ounces frozen brussel sprouts
  • 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinaigrette
  • 3-4 slices cooked bacon, cut in to about 4 pieces each
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 400°.
  • Mix together in a small bowl the maple syrup and balsamic vinaigrette, set aside.
  • In a medium pot on medium heat add the olive oil and brussel sprouts, stir to coat sprout with the olive oil, Saute for about few minutes.
  • Turn heat to low add the bacon pieces, put a lid on the pot and let cook for a few minutes, turn off heat place sprouts in a baking dish, cut sprouts in half, drizzle half of the maple syrup mixture evenly over the sprouts.
  • Place in preheated oven for about 15 minutes, remove from oven and drizzle the other half of maple syrup mixture over the sprouts and serve. Enjoy!
