Slow Cooker Beef Potatoes Carrots
Ingredients
- 2 portion size pieces of round, cube, or chuck steak, your choice
- 3 large carrots peeled and washed, cut in to large pieces
- 4 small potatoes peeled and washed
- umami mushroom seasoning blend, or your favorite seasoning blend
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- salt and pepper to taste
- parsley flakes for garnish
- 1/3 cup water
- For Gravy
- 2 tablespoons corn starch
- 1/4 cup water
- Sprinkle seasoning blend on both sides of meat, set aside.
- Turn a small 2 quart slow cooker on high, add the water in the bottom, add half of the carrots, set a steak on top of carrots, then the remainder of the carrots, set the other steak on top of the carrots.
- Set the potatoes on the top, sprinkle paprika and parsley flakes on top of potatoes.
- Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook for about 4 hours, depends on you slow cooker, until everything is tender.
- Gravy
- 1 cup of the liquid from slow cooker into a small pot, turn heat on medium
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons corn starch
- Mix together water and corn starch add to the small pot, stir until thickened, serve.
