Ground Chicken Tacos

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound lean ground chicken
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons each: chili powder, ground cumin, smoked paprika, onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon each: garlic powder, oregano
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Taco shells, flour or corn
  • Your favorite taco toppings: shredded cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, sour cream, you choose

DIRECTIONS

  • Add olive oil to large skillet, turn heat on medium, add ground chicken and break up to smaller pieces, brown on all sides.
  • Add tomato sauce, water, and all the seasonings, keep stirring until all the liquid is gone, turn heat to low.
  • Add a couple spoons of meat to each taco shells, next add cheese, and the remaining toppings of your choice.
  • Turn heat off meat. Should make 6-8 tacos depending on size of taco shells. Serve and Enjoy!
