Ground Chicken Tacos
Tacos prepared with Lean Ground Chicken, and Your favorite taco toppings…
Ground Chicken Tacos
INGREDIENTS
- 1 pound lean ground chicken
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 teaspoons each: chili powder, ground cumin, smoked paprika, onion powder
- 1 teaspoon each: garlic powder, oregano
- salt and pepper to taste
- Taco shells, flour or corn
- Your favorite taco toppings: shredded cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, sour cream, you choose
DIRECTIONS
- Add olive oil to large skillet, turn heat on medium, add ground chicken and break up to smaller pieces, brown on all sides.
- Add tomato sauce, water, and all the seasonings, keep stirring until all the liquid is gone, turn heat to low.
- Add a couple spoons of meat to each taco shells, next add cheese, and the remaining toppings of your choice.
- Turn heat off meat. Should make 6-8 tacos depending on size of taco shells. Serve and Enjoy!
