Ground Beef Mushrooms and Gravy
Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef, 93/7
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups beef stock
- 1 tablespoon umami mushroom seasoning
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons corn starch
- 4 tablespoons water
Directions
- Turn burner on stove to medium, place ground beef in a large skillet to brown, drain any fat if needed.
- Add beef stock, stir in the seasonings and the sliced mushrooms.
- Let simmer for about 8-10 minutes.
- Mix the corn starch and water together, stir in to the skillet to thicken the liquid.
- After thickened to gravy, turn off heat and serve over your choice, mashed potatoes, egg noodles, or rice. Enjoy!
