Italian Parmesan Herb Bread
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup room temperature water, plus 1 tablespoon
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1/4 cup shredded parmesan
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 & 3/4 cups unbleached flour or bread flour
- 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
Directions
- Place all the ingredients into the bread machine in the order listed.
- Choose the 1 pound loaf, French Bread style on the menu, and light or medium crust setting (I used medium).
- When loaf is done, use pot holders to take out the pan and turn over shake out bread.
- Set on a cooling rack, slice either hot or cooled. Enjoy!
- Don’t forget the butter.
